Bobby Boswell (BobbyBoswell.com)

Bobby was introduced to the Houston media today at a press conference. President and GM Oliver Luck and Head Coach Dominic Kinnear were both on hand, as were two gleaming MLS Cup trophies. More photos can be seen at the Flickr account.

So what ## will Wondolowski get now?
(Congrats on the move!…and keeping the 32)
It’ll be weird not seeing you in the DC backline.

I always thought The Management worked for United. I guess he is Bobby’s The Management.
From: Mike on December 13, 2007 @ 6:32 pm
Is Houston really ready for you?
From: DCU4EVER on December 13, 2007 @ 6:38 pm
Man, Bobby in anything other than black and red just looks wrong.
From: Leaky123 on December 13, 2007 @ 6:45 pm
I see you’ve already started Dynamo theming the site with orange instead of red text. Now all you need is to slap a Dynamo logo where the United logo used to be.
From: Leaky123 on December 13, 2007 @ 6:46 pm

Congrats on the move Bobby, but even as a proud Texan, even I know that hat was kinda overkill.
From: GC on December 13, 2007 @ 9:10 pm

Ohhhh this is sooooo sad! : ( I had this Houston fan approach me and chat a little bit before the MLS Cup. He told me I should be a Houston fan, and join them. I said that I look terrible in orange. So, he puts a big orange bow on top my head, and his buddy takes a picture before I could pull it off : D.

Houston’s ghettos are nothing compared to DC’s. You will miss us.

From: JonF on December 14, 2007 @ 10:01 pm
I will still read your blog, Bobby, because it was about the players behind the scenes, and not just DC United. So, I still expect to see blogs about Alecko, and #14, and Jimmy Conrad, and others. Keep it going, Boz.

Glad to have you on the squad Bobby, welcome to town. If you need anything just ask Waibel (http://www.bigsoccer.com/forum/showthread.php?t=557688&highlight=waibel). We look forward to some posts about your time here in Houston.

Bobby we’ll miss you. You were a favorite in our house since you took the time to sign autographs for my kids at a US Open Cup game in Richmond, VA a couple of years ago.
Best of luck to you. I can’t cheer for you against United but I hope to be able to cheer for you on the National Team.
From: Mary on December 17, 2007 @ 9:49 am
